C I R E S started its activities as an international research network on the study of the relationship between resilience and spirituality. Here converge therefore fields such as psychology, theology, sociology, anthropology and the Arts, among others.
On this site you can find some input on research and theoretical developments on the topic of Resilience in a special way, as it relates to faith, religious experience and church participation.
We hope to provide a service to the academic community and professional working in the theme of resilience, especially in Latin America, and the various entities and agencies that strive to promote human development, particularly the most vulnerable and disadvantaged of our societies.

The Research Center of Resilience and Spirituality (CIRES) is a newly formed international network of academics and professionals who are bound by their marked interest in the Resilience and Spirituality, as a new field of research and service.
Our aim is to provide theoretical and applied resources to the various authorities, organizations and individuals who are committed to the promotion of human development, especially by individuals and groups in situations of adversity, vulnerability and / or disadvantage.
1) Formation of academic and professional networks around the study of resilience and spirituality.
2) Research and field literature.
3) Provision of library materials.
